People Yahoo! India has Mobile head now Our Bureau
Mumbai , Jan. 21 YAHOO! India has made a series of new appointments in its India office. It has appointed a Head of Yahoo! India mobile and announced two new positions for lending strategic direction to Yahoo! India search and online media sales. Mr Vishal Maheshwari has been appointed Head of Yahoo! India Mobile, Mr Rishi Behal, Director, Strategic Alliances and Search, and Mr Pearl Uppal, Sales Director, heading the national sales function of Yahoo! India, said a news release from the company. "Yahoo! India has seen an aggressive growth rate in the last couple of years and this goes beyond just increase in online advertising revenues," said Mr Neville Taraporewalla, Country Head. "Our mobile content business is also on the rise, besides we see a great potential in the search business," he said.
