HPCL crude handling

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakha refinery of the HPCL processed 7 lakh tonnes of crude during the first nine months of the current fiscal, according to Mr Dinesh K. Deshpande, General Manager In-charge.

He said here on the occasion of the Republic Day that it was a landmark year for the refinery. He said there were proposals to take up project works worth Rs 2,000 crore during the next two or three years and new technologies would be brought in to further improve the functioning of the refinery.

He distributed long service awards to 68 employees and complimented them for their services.
