Fire at Sirpur Paper Mills

HYDERABAD: Sirpur Paper Mills Ltd suffered a fire accident at its paper machine-2 on Monday. The company informed the stock exchanges that the incident lead to the machine's break down and consequent loss of production of 30 tonnes of paper approximately per day.

According to the company, the production from the machine would be resumed in approximately 15 days. The company said insurance claim for damage caused to the machine and resulting loss of profit was lodged with the insurance authorities.
