Water levels drop marginally at major reservoirs in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water levels at all three major reservoirs in the State recorded slight decline compared with the readings registered a week back.

According to figures released by the Central Water Commission, the level dropped from 2,355.14 ft to 2,352.40 ft at Idukki; 492.91 ft to 490.22 ft at Idamalayar; and 363.62 ft to 361.98 ft at Kallada. However, the levels are up by 17.70 ft at Idukki, 10.33 ft at Idamalayar and 5.09 ft at Kallada when compared to the levels recorded during the same time last year.
