IMFA group cos post higher output

THE IMFA Group has announced that its two group companies — Indian Metal & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFAL) and Indian Charge Chrome Ltd (ICCL) — have achieved several records in production volumes during January.

Ferro chrome production at ICCL's Choudwar plant was 6,023 tonnes. Also, production at IMFAL's Therubali plant stood at 3,007 tonnes. The combined prime ferro chrome production of 9,030 tonnes is the highest in a single month. However, in terms of saleable production, the output in the monthwas a record 10,265 tonnes, which is the highest-ever volume recorded, according to a company release. Similarly, ferro silicon production at IMFAL's Therubali plant was 3,112 tonnes. The company's power plant operated at a plant load factor of 99.7 per cent.
