Telecommunications Reliance Info roaming pack Our Bureau
CHENNAI: Reliance Infocomm has made incoming calls free for its subscribers in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles while they are roaming between these two circles. The pack for prepaid subscribers will be available at all Reliance Infocomm WebWorld, WebWorld Express and retail outlets. The new product, priced at Rs 45, will have a 30-day validity. Postpaid subscribers have to pay a special monthly subscription of Rs 49 for the service, for which they will have to call the customer care centre to have the facility activated, according to the company. Reliance Infocomm has about 10 lakh subscribers in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles together. With the new scheme, subscribers in Chennai and Tamil Nadu can roam between the two circles, pay home rates for outgoing calls and get unlimited free incoming calls, according to Mr V.G. Somasekhar, RIM Business Head-Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
