Water Kerala: Water levels in major reservoirs fall marginally Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water levels in the three major reservoirs of the State Idukki, Idamalayar and Kallada have registered a marginal fall when compared to those recorded during the previous week. According to figures released by the Central Water Commission, the levels fell from 2346.78 feet (ft) to 2342.82 ft at Idukki; from 484.02 ft to 480.51 ft at Idamalayar; and from 357.94 ft to 354.72 ft at Kallada. However, when compared to the levels recorded a year ago, these levels represent a rise of 15.03 ft at Idukki, 10.00 ft at Idamalayar and 5.90 ft at Kallada.
