Dhanalakshmi Bank opens another branch in Chennai

KOCHI: Thrissur-based Dhanalakshmi Bank has opened its latest branch at Ashok Nagar, in Chennai. Mr T.R. Madhavan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the bank, said the bank was one among the old generation private sector banks which has embraced technology and is now poised for rapid growth.

Besides doing a business of over Rs 3,500 crore, the bank is extending its service to below the poverty line, through facilities to self help groups and has a major share in micro credit area.
