Peninsular starts coffee futures in Kochi

KOCHI: Peninsular Multi Comex Services Ltd, a subsidiary of Peninsular group, has started online coffee futures trading on National Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. The trading will be offered through the company's nationwide network, a press release from the company has said.

The first trade in coffee futures was inaugurated at the Kozhikode branch of Peninsular Multi Comex. The futures trading have been launched both in arabica and robusta coffee varieties. The delivery centres will be at Kozhikode, Kochi and Bangalore through the offices of Central Warehousing Corporation.
