CanBank business plans for Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Canara Bank plans to increase its business volumes of Hyderabad Circle to Rs 8,650 crore during the current fiscal year from Rs 7,500 crore posted during the last fiscal, according to its Executive Director, Mr B. Swaminathan. Inaugurating the bank's ATM cash point at Pathergatty branch here on Wednesday, he said the bank has achieved a turnover of Rs 1,47,182 crore for the first nine months of the current fiscal ended December 31 last year, which include Rs 93,638 crore of deposits and Rs 53,544 crore of advances.

The bank aims to reach Rs 95,500 crore under deposits and Rs 57,650 crore under advances during the current fiscal, he said.
