Some of the main Bangalore streets are home to makeshift tent shops where gypsies from Gujarat and other States sell home decorative works and even cricket bats. Gypsies say they do brisk business here. The price of the products vary from buyer to buyer: for instance, pedestrians and those on two-wheelers can buy a decorative piece for Rs 100 but the same will cost at least four times more for those who come in cars.
