Aptech Beida retains top slot in China

Hyderabad , March 28

APTECH Beida Jadebird IT Co. Ltd, a joint venture of Aptech in China, has announced it has maintained its top position in IT training in China for the third consecutive year topping $40 million revenues, according to CCID (China Centre for Information Industry Development) Report.

Its market share has doubled to approximately 15 per cent in 2004. Aptech achieved the ranking ahead of other players including Science Institute of Software (with 10.3 per cent market share) and NIIT (7.9 per cent market share). Over 52,000 students enrolled for Aptech's career courses in 150 Aptech centres in China.

The Managing Director of Aptech, Mr Pramod Khera, in a statement said "Aptech's market share in China has grown by nearly 100 per cent in the past year, largely due to our geographical spread combined with the strength of our well-researched courses suited to the Chinese market and recognised by Government bodies globally."
