DATACRAFT, an IT company, has been selected by Jabil Circuit Inc, a global electronic services provider, to provide the network infrastructure for its newmanufacturing facility near here.

Mr Pranav Waichal, Purchase Manager of Jabil Circuit India, said the project would involve the setting up of an advanced Internet protocol network to support core business applications, and the provision of IP telephony, security and seamless integration for wireless solutions.

Datacraft is also responsible for providing one-year uptime maintenance services. Mr Waichal said this is Jabil's second manufacturing plant in India.

The plant, expected to be fully operational by mid-2005, will offer a printed circuit board assembly, enclosure integration and repair services.
