LIC staff team meets Minister

NEW DELHI: A delegation of LIC employees, who are on strike demanding settlement of wage revision, met the Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram here on Thursday. The wage settlement has been pending since August 1, 2002.

The delegation, under the aegis of the All India Insurance Employees' Association (AIIEA), told the Minister that the demands of the employees were justified.
