Grooming indiscipline

This refers to the article `The cost of discipline' (Business Line, April 5). The author has contrasted the treatment meted out to long hair in schools in the US and India and the consequences such autocratic behaviour lead to.

However, he has missed out the need to discipline young minds in their formative years.

It is important to instil the right habits at an early age.
