NEW DELHI: Hewlett Packard has launched India's the country's first series of consumer notebooks with LightScribe technology targeted at achieving better levels of productivity and efficiency.

"HP will be offering this combination in its Compaq Presario V2100 Notebook series," a company release said here.

LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling is a system that enables consumers to burn labels directly on their discs. With LightScribe, the consumer can now burn silkscreen- quality labels with the precision and fine detail.

"Whether simple or complex, labels can now be of uniformly high-quality. Consumers can be as creative as they wish, with text and graphics designed to express their unique styles. For instance, a business professional on the move can burn his files on the disc and etch it with his client's logo before reaching the client meeting," the release said.
