In troubled waters

Fishermen set out in mechanised boats at daybreak in Visakhapatnam on Friday. The traditional fishermen are unsure of their fate as a 45-day fishing ban comes into force at Friday midnight in view of the breeding season. Fishermen had appealed in vain to the Government to withdraw the annual ban this year in view of the losses suffered due to tsunami.
