Hyderabad , April 20

ANAGRAM Stock Broking Ltd, part of the Rs 2,000-crore Lalbhai Group of Companies, has set up a branch office in Proddattur in Kadapa, the home district of Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and a centre for gold trading.

This is the 10th branch of the leading corporate stock broking house in the State, after its initial operations were launched in the year 2000 with an office in Secunderabad.

Mr Dimple Shah, Director & Head Sales & Marketing of Anagram, said at the opening of the Proddatur branch today the average daily turnover from Andhra Pradesh was around Rs 30 crore in cash and F&O segment and over Rs 10 crore in commodities.

The State has a number of traders dealing in wheat, jowar, turmeric, gold and silver, offering a big potential in the commodity markets. The new branch would also provide research advice, personalised broking and depository services to the commodity broking. It is equipped with nation-wide connectivity and back office systems, a press release said.

Anagram's branch network includes offices in Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam and Kakinada.
