vCustomer to buy MCI service assets

New Delhi , April 22

VCUSTOMER Corporation, a player in business process outsourcing and customer relationship management space, announced on Friday that it signed a definitive agreement to purchase the Directory Assistance Service, Operator Service and Relay Service assets from MCI.

"These assets include multiple call centres across the US and one call centre in the Philippines.

"In addition, vCustomer signed a multi-year agreement with the company to provide Network Management, Directory and Operator Services. vCustomer's telecom division will ensure residential and business customers receive its award-winning quality service across Directory Assistance, Call Centre and Operator Services," a company release said here.

Upon completion of the transaction, the company would have approximately 6,000 employees located across the US, the Philippines and India.

vCustomer offers a service portfolio of outsourcing solutions for customer sales and service, technology support and back office processing.
