MCX gets quality certification

Mumbai , May 3

MCX on Tuesday said it had received ISO 9001:2000 certification from Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) for its quality trading, settlement and delivery mechanism.

The certification approves MCX's quality management systems for design and development of products to meet international standards established by the International Organisation for Standardization (IQS).Mr Jignesh Shah, Managing Director of MCX, said the certification further re-affirmed the bourse's commitment to the commodities market.
