Cobra beer launched in Mumbai

MUMBAI: With intentions of building up further volumes, the Cobra brand of premium beer has been formally launched in the Mumbai market. Priced at Rs 50 and Rs 30 for a 650 ml and 330 ml bottle respectively in Mumbai, the brand is expected to go national within the next three months.

At a press conference Mr Perses Billimoria, the Regional Director, Cobra Beer Ltd, said, "We are targeting a sales turnover of Rs 10-15 crore in the next two years and intend floating an IPO in the future." Besides the brand is also expected to unleash a media campaign through its newly appointed agency Lowe Lintas.
