KOCHI: Apple Computer has opened its third retail outlet in India in Kochi to sell its range of computers. The shop has been set up by Lasergraphics, an Apple authorised reseller.

"The AppleCorner will provide an opportunity for prospective Mac users to get closer to the products. We will be selling a range of Apple products including the latest iMac G5 to Mac Mini to iPod music players," said Mr Jogesh J. Shelat of Lasergraphics.

The shop will also sell Apple software and computer accessories, Mr Shelat said, adding that it will be open throughout the week. Apple's other two retail shops are in Bangalore and Goa. The shop, located next to the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in the city, also offers a Wi-Fi hotspot, from where any person with a Wi-Fi-enabled computer can surf the Internet.

In order to popularise the products, Lasergraphics would offer training free of cost to senior citizens who want to use the computers. Special training sessions for children and ladies are also on the cards.
