Digital inverter launched at Kochi

KOCHI: Base Corporation Ltd, which sells the Base Terminal brand of batteries, has launched its indigenously developed digital inverter.

The 550 VA model is priced Rs 5,100.

According to a statement, the inverter has features such as `intelligent charging system' which checks the battery health and automatically adjusts the recharging current, audio alarm system, electronic overload short circuit protection and auto restart facility.

The company expects to sell 60,000 pieces initially, the statement said.
