Bangalore , May 10

BAJAJ Electricals has tied up with the US-based Multiquip, a leading manufacturer and distributors of light and medium-sized construction equipment around the globe.

Under the agreement, Bajaj Electricals would market Multiquip's advanced light towers and welders.

The agreement includes the marketing of the nighthawk mobile light towers, mobile light towers and welders and globugs light towers. Currently, mobile light towers available in the country have been primitive in design and performance. The tie-up with Mutliquip will herald an advanced, compact, lightweight design and other features in mobile light towers, which would help the construction industry, mining, among others, in working round the clock as also railways, army and accident sites in their 24-hour relief work.

Bajaj Electricals would also provide Multiquip with service back up for its products in India.
