Hyderabad , May 18

KNITWEAR major Duke Fashion India Ltd, part of the Rs 150-crore Duke Group of Ludhiana, has launched two exclusive showrooms — one each in Hyderabad and Secunderabad — and announced plans to launch six more in South India.

Speaking on the occasion, the Head of Marketing, Duke Fashion India, Mr Balkar Singh, said Hyderabad is a lucrative market for the company. The lifestyle of the people is changing, so is the outlook and attitude towards fashion and lifestyle. Youngsters in Hyderabad are always looking for apparels, which are high on fashion, but affordable on prices.

Coinciding with the announcement of opening of two new stores, the Duke official launched its Spring Summer Collection.

"We at Duke always strive to offer the international clothing concepts at highly affordable prices. Over three decades, we have been successful in creating a niche for Duke brand in the highly cluttered and competitive T-shirt market in India," he explained.

Duke has thus far covered a significant part of the country with a network of over 2,500 outlets in addition to 20 exclusive Duke stores. Duke has 150 dealers in Andhra Pradesh and expects to consolidate further.
