Vanilla tea launched

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vanilla India Producer Company Ltd (Vanilco), promoted by the Indian Farmers' Movement, plans to sell vanilla tea in Kerala.

The product was formally launched at a function in the city on Friday when samples of the vanilla tea were presented to the Kerala Chief Minister, Mr Oommen Chandy, and the Agriculture Minister, Ms K.R. Gouri Amma.

The company also plans to sell its vanilla tea across the country, a press release said.
