Wind River Systems in pact with Wipro

Our Bureau

Bangalore , May 24

WIND River Systems, a provider of device software optimisation (DSO) technologies, and Wipro Technologies have announced a strategic tie-up that will more closely align Wind River's leading DSO products and device design services with Wipro's product engineering services portfolio.

Joint customers of Wind River and Wipro will now have access to a larger team of development engineers trained on the latest Wind River DSO product lines. This strategic partnership furthers the long standing bilateral customer relationship between the two companies which began in 1998, said a Wipro release.

Under the terms of the agreement, Wind River will provide extensive training to Wipro's engineering team on Wind River's DSO product line, including Wind River Workbench and Wind River Platforms. Additionally, the partnership will enable Wipro to influence Wind River's product roadmap and create business opportunities for both companies through cross-referrals.
