May contracts witness good response on MCX

MCX has witnessed a good response in black pepper, rubber, chana, tur and jeera contracts for May.

A MCX release said May rubber contracts resulted in physical delivery of 24 tonnes valued at Rs. 14.98 lakh. Other deliveries in the contracts were: Chana 380 tonnes; tur 270 tonnes; and jeera 72 tonnes. May pepper ex-Kochi contracts resulted in 86 tonnes of physical delivery valued at Rs. 55.59 lakh through CWC warehouse at Ernakulam.

The delivery pay-in and payout process was completed in three working days.
