Bank staff meet on reforms

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bank Employees Federation of India (Befi) - Kerala is organising a seminar on `Inclusive economic reforms' on Saturday at the Town Hall in Ernakulam.

Dr C.P. Chandrasekhar, Department of Economics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, will deliver the keynote address on `Framework for an inclusive economy.' Dr Sebastian Paul, Member of Parliament, will inaugurate the proceedings. Mr P. Sadasivan Pillai, National President, BEFI, will preside over.

According to Mr A. Siyaudeen, General Secretary, Befi-Kerala, the seminar will examine whether policies pursued by the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government during one year in office have been qualitatively different from those of the previous Government.
