Autocop to open 26 stores, ties up with Pioneer

New Delhi , June 23

AUTOCOP India, the market leader in car security systems plans to strengthen its retail network by opening 26 `Autocop World' stores across the country in the next two years.

The company also announced that it has entered into a tie-up with Pioneer Corporation, Japan, to exclusively market Pioneer's Car Audio systems through `Autocop World' outlets and its network of 2,000 dealers across the country.

Mr Harsh Sharma, Director-Marketing and Sales, Autocop India Pvt Ltd. said, "We expect our turnover to increase to Rs 300 crore from Rs 210 crore achieved in 2004-05 through the tie-up with Pioneer Corporation and opening of `Autocop World' stores. Mr Atsushi Omukai, Project Manager, India Project, Pioneer Corporation, said, "With this arrangement we can take our products to the discerning Indian customers and can make sure that the consumers get only original Pioneer products."
