Qatar team calls on Kerala CM

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A high-level delegation from Qatar headed by the country's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al-Mahmood, held discussions with the Kerala Chief Minister, Mr Oommen Chandy, and the State's Industries Minister, Mr V.K. Ebrahim Kunju, on Wednesday evening.

Earlier in the day, the 18-member delegation visited Technopark Thiruvananthapuram and held discussions with the park's managers and executives of leading companies in the Technopark. The delegation from Qatar, which is on a two-day visit to look at investment opportunities in the State, is visiting Kochi on Thursday.
