Finolex hails Kerala VAT initiative

KOCHI: Finolex Cables, dealing in electrical and telecom cables, has welcomed the latest value-added tax (VAT) initiative of the State Government. The company is gearing to introduce new prices for its products in accordance with the VAT regime.

Complimenting the Government move to reduce VAT from 12.5 to 4 per cent, Mr Deepak Chhabria, Managing Director, Finolex Cables Ltd, said that it has been decided to pass on the benefits to customers. The company is currently selling electrical cables, flexible cables and switchboard cables in the State.
