Mumbai , June 26

STANDARD Chartered on Sunday announced the appointment of Mr Neeraj Swaroop as Chief Executive Officer of Indian operations.

The bank also announced that Mr Jaspal Bindra, Regional General Manager, South Asia, had been appointed to the Standard Chartered group's management committee, and has become one of the organisation's senior-most official, in a news release.
