4-day Aerodrome India meet in Bangalore

Our Bureau

Bangalore , July 5

WITH air travel registering a significant growth thanks to the open sky policy, the need for promoting professional excellence in airport management and advancement of airports' interest has assumed greater significance.

To highlight this philosophy, a four-day seminar-cum exhibition has been planned here by the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries, PDA Trade Fairs and Airports Council International in December.

The first `Aerodrome India' meet, which seeks to focus on the technologies for airport management and related areas of security and aircraft maintenance, is proposed to be held from December 7.

The Civil Aviation Minister, Mr Praful Patel, is expected to inaugurate the meet, which will provide a common platform for airports and infrastructure developers and aviation security avionics producers.
