Hurix to expand in Chennai

CHENNAI: Hurix Systems, a Mumbai-based provider of knowledge-based solutions, will expand its Chennai operations.

It plans to recruit 150 people by the end of the year. It has around 50 employees working in the city, according to its CEO, Mr Subrat Mohanty.

The company, which is likely to report revenue of $5 million during this year, has acquired a 10,000-sq. ft. office in the city with a seating capacity of 200. It will recruit project managers, institutional designers and software engineers for the new facility. The Chennai centre will be a key driver of growth for the company, Mr Mohanty told newspersons.
