Pune , July 15

HARBINGER Knowledge Products has announced the release of Elicitus Interactivity Builder, a rapid interactivity authoring (RIA) tool for the global e-learning industry. The product is based on Harbinger's patent-pending technology for rapid authoring of interactive content.

Mr Vikas Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director, said: "The e-learning community has long tried to strike a balance between truly interactive learning, which is engaging for learners but costly to build, and rapid authoring is cost-effective to build but can get boring for learners. Elicitus Interactivity Builder helps trainers and subject matter experts break out of this impasse. Now they can reduce time and cost for creating interactive training."

The product allows users to adapt a unique library of instructionally sound high-quality customisable interactivity models to suit their training courses. Users can create millions of variations on any interactivity easily using the example-based interactivity design methodology.

On the IT pack included with the product, Ms Seema Chaudhary, Director (Business Development), said: "The pack has over 50 out-of-the-box customisable interactivity models and is based research on how software end-users, systems developers, and IT professionals learn to design, configure, and use products and applications."
