Well-said Mr President

One of the directive principles of the Constitution is to formulate policies to prevent concentration of wealth in the hands of few. It is corruption and misused power that has led to concentration of wealth in the hands of a few which in turn leads to more corruption and misuse of power.

In his Kolkata speech, the President urged the student community of the city to strive towards a corruption-free India. Hope his message will spur a lot of people into action.

V. S. Venkatavaradan
