Hellosoft seals $16-m funding

Hyderabad , July 20

HELLOSOFT, the embedded software maker, announced it has completed $16-million series B financing led by Boston-based TD Capital Ventures.

This round of funding included participation from new investors Mitsui & Co, Venture Partners and Entrepia Ventures, and current investors including Venrock Associates, Sofinnova Ventures and Jump Startup.

The Chief Executive Officer of Hellosoft, Mr Krishna Yarlagadda, in a statement said, "The new investment will help HelloSoft accelerate its development of solutions for the mobile multi-mode handset market."

HelloSoft plans to focus on advanced low-cost and low-power solutions.
