Pepsi launches new `acting' contest in TN

Chennai , July 21

PEPSI has launched its new `Pepsi drinking — Surya Voda Acting' contest for Tamil Nadu.

The winner will get a chance to act with Tamil film actor Surya in his new film Aaru.

Ms Punita Lal, Executive Director, (Marketing), Pepsi Foods Pvt Ltd, said that this contest reiterates Pepsi's youthful positioning.

Those wanting to take part in the contest will have to buy a Pepsi glass or PET bottle which will have a prize option printed under the bottle crown or label.

A sure prize is an autographed Surya picture under the crown, along with free `Oye Bubbly' SMS ringtone.

The other three prizes include a VCD containing Surya's hit songs, meeting Surya at the sets of Aaru and a screen test to qualify for the auditions.

The preliminary auditions will be held in eight cities on August 7, 14, 28 and September 4 at select Reliance WebWorld outlets across the State.

The auditions will throw up 40 contenders, of which, one will be chosen.
