Seminar on e-learning tech in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) is organising a two-day national seminar on e-learning and e-learning technologies here. The ELETECH India 2005 would begin on Monday.

"The seminar is aimed at providing a common platform for experts working in this area to evolve future strategies and focus on latest trends in e-learning technologies," Dr N. Sarat Chandra Babu, Director of C-DAC (Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology), said here in a press release.

Prof H.P. Dikshit, Vice-Chancellor of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), would inaugurate the seminar. Dr S.P. Mudur of Concordia University (Canada), known for his contributions in e-learning, would deliver the keynote address on `E-learning - Prospects and challenges.'
