Taking this into account, the Coconut Technology Mission plans to implement 105 projects worth Rs 213 crore. Of this, Rs. 19.75 crore will be provided by the Coconut Development Board. The project will aim at improving quality of coconut seeds and saplings and formulating new disease-resistant hybrid varieties.
