Cisco bags Symphony order

BANGALORE: Cisco Systems said it had won a $2 million deal from Symphony Services for deploying a Cisco-powered network with integrated firewall and security modules as well as IP telephony technologies for its global operating centre in Bangalore.

Symphony Services chose to source the equipment valued at $1.2 million in the first phase, a Cisco press release said. The total deal is valued at $2 million, which is to be completed in two phases over the next 12 months, the release added.
