Input output norms notified for 17 new export items

THE Government has notified additional standard input output norms for 17 new export items. Of them, seven norms related to chemicals and allied products, three to engineering products, two to food products and the remaining five related to miscellaneous products.

An official release also said that amendments/corrections/deletions have been carried out in the norms for 17 existing export items. It also highlighted that specifying norms would facilitate issuance of advance licences to exporters for these additional items.
