HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has announced it has implemented India's first Peoplesoft solution for the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

MAHE, part of Manipal Education and Medical Group, is one of the largest in the sub-continent in education and healthcare, covering two universities, 35 institutions, 11 hospitals and a student base of around 70,000.

The Peoplesoft enterprise application solution will facilitate areas such as student finance, human resource management system, payroll, financial, procurement and inventory and portal.

MAHE needed commonality of critical processes across various educational institutions and hospitals within the University, which has been standardised now through the Peoplesoft implementation. With this application students and senior management can now track information and communicate seamlessly, a company statement said.
