Israeli exhibition co keen to host shows in India

KENES Exhibitions, an Israeli major organising exhibitions, is keen to bring international exhibition-cum-conferences in focussed areas of biotechnology and medicine to India.

A subsidiary of Kenes International, a globally recognised name in organisation of international congress, the company is exploring emerging technology areas, where India is making its presence in the global arena.

According to Ms Prema Zilberman, Project Manager, International Marketing of Kenes Exhibitions from Tel Aviv, the company has expertise in organising mega events on a total turnkey basis.

Founded in 1994, Kenes Exhibitions organises Israel's leading trade shows in telecom, agri tech, electro-optics, biotechnology etc.

Recently in Hyderabad, Ms Prema Zilberman told Business Line that the company had initiated discussions with key event organisations in the country to explore the possibilities of bringing a major show to India in the next few years.

Kenes Exhibitions has scheduled the Women's Trade Fair, Energin and Pipes for Industry, Agriculture, Buildings etc. all during September 2005 back home in Israel.

The major global shows coming include the Agri Tech and Biomed Israel during May 2006 and Telecom Israel in November 2006, she added.
