ANDHRA Bank plans to set up 40 more ATMs in Visakhapatnam zone before the end of the financial year.

Announcing this after inaugurating a two-day road show of the bank at the Seethammadhara branch as part of AB Deposit Ut`save' here on Thursday, the Deputy General Manager, Mr. K. Suryanarayana, said that four new ATMs would be opened in the zone covering the three north Andhra districts of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam before this month-end.

The month-long Ut`save', which began on August 17, was aimed at focussing on various deposit schemes, insurance-linked products, and ancillary services provided by the bank, he said.

The bank had a tie up with the Life Insurance Corporation of India, which had trained the bank's personnel, and now insurance products were being sold to the customer over the bank counter.
