Bajaj Allianz gets Rs 58 cr more capital

MUMBAI: Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has infused Rs 58 crore into its capital, taking up its total paid-up capital to Rs 308 crore.

According to a press release, Mr Sam Ghosh, Country Manager, Allianz and Chief Executive Officer, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance said, "After viewing the previous fiscal and the first quarter's performance on sales and financial management, both the partners - Bajaj Auto and Allianz AG - are confident about the company's future growth prospects. The capital infusion is an indication of the companies' commitment to strong growth and long-term investment in India".
