Hyundai sales up 32% in August

HYUNDAI Motor India has announced that it has recorded all-time high sales of 24,311 units in August 2005, posting a growth of 32 per cent over August 2004.

The company's domestic sales in August were 14,902 units, a growth of 51.2 per cent over the same month in 2004, and overseas sales grew 9.8 per cent to 9,409 units.

Hyundai Motor India sold a total of 1,66,630 vehicles in the first eight months of 2005, up by 28.7 per cent over the same period in 2004.
