Ranbaxy board to consider US listing

NEW DELHI: The board of Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd will meet on Friday next to discuss about listing the company's share on the US stock exchange.

"It will also consider conversion of its Global Depositary Receipts into American Depositary Receipts and raising funds through appropriate securities," the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The company has already been talking about acquisitions in India as well as overseas to grow its business.
