PNB launches SB account for students

New Delhi , Sept. 5

PUNJAB National Bank has launched PNB Vidyarthi savings accounts under which students of 10 years and above can open saving accounts with zero balance facilities.

Students can open accounts without any minimum balance or payment of any charges.

Students above 18 years of age and staying away from parents for studies can avail of an overdraft facility up to Rs 10,000 to meet short-term requirements.

Students would also have the benefit of free cheque books, no commission on drafts for examination fees and other fees, no incidental charges and no condition of maintaining minimum balance in the account.
